M98 — NGC 4192 — Spiral Galaxy
M98 is an elegant, slightly tilted edge-on spiral galaxy in the Virgo Cluster. The long, narrow structure displays beautiful dust lanes extending along the disk. The core is bright but compact, and the arms are subtly visible in longer exposures. Due to the cluster environment, M98 exhibits slight asymmetries and variations in brightness, likely caused by interactions with nearby galaxies.
