NGC 2372, often paired with NGC 2371, is a striking double-lobed planetary nebula located in the
constellation Gemini. The nebula consists of two bright, symmetric lobes extending from a central
star, formed as the dying star expels its outer layers into space. The lobes contain knots,
filaments, and arcs shaped by fast stellar winds and complex interactions within the expanding gas.
Deep imaging reveals strong emission in oxygen and hydrogen, giving the nebula a characteristic
blue-green and red appearance.
