NGC 957 is a small and relatively faint open cluster located in the constellation Perseus. It
consists of a loose grouping of stars spread across a modest area, lacking a strong central
concentration. The cluster blends subtly into the surrounding Milky Way field.
Although not one of the more prominent clusters in Perseus, NGC 957 is an interesting target
for observers exploring lesser-known open clusters in the region.
