This wide-field image shows two Sharpless objects located in the constellation
Camelopardalis: Sh2-207 and Sh2-208.
Sh2-207 is a faint and diffuse HII region with low surface brightness, while
Sh2-208 is a more compact and brighter emission nebula associated with young
stellar activity. Both objects lie in a sparsely populated region of the Milky Way,
where patches of hydrogen emission contrast with surrounding dark dust clouds.
Although not physically connected, Sh2-207 and Sh2-208 often appear together in
wide-field astrophotography due to their close proximity on the sky.
