Mundrabilla Meteorite

A 2,500 kg fragment of the Mundrabilla meteorite is displayed in the foyer of the South Australian Museum in Adelaide. Mundrabilla is an iron meteorite discovered in Australia. It is one of the largest meteorites ever found, with the Meteoritical Bulletin Database reporting a total known weight of 24 tonnes and a largest recovered fragment weighing 9,980 kg.
